P&G Hygiene share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 16,543.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 21,548.9 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are Gillette India (up 10.0%) and JYOTHY LABS (up 4.7%).

Dabur (down 3.3%) and RADICO KHAITAN (down 2.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, P&G Hygiene has moved down from Rs 17,080.6 to Rs 16,543.3, registering a loss of Rs 537.3 (down 3.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,462.0 to 21,548.9, registering a gain of 16.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 208.0%), BOM.BURMAH (up 94.1%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 88.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,332.4 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are SBI (up 4.2%) and ICICI Bank (up 3.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,452.0 (up 0.5%). Bharat Electronics and SBI are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 80,332.4, registering a gain of 16,283.4 points (up 25.4%).

P&G Hygiene Financial Update...

P&G Hygiene net profit fell 46.4% YoY to Rs 811 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,512 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.3% to Rs 9,318 million during the period as against Rs 8,525 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended June 2023, P&G Hygiene reported 17.8% increase in net profit to Rs 6,781 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,758 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 0.4% to Rs 39,179 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of P&G Hygiene, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 79.6.
