PG Electroplast share price has plunged 3% and is presently trading at Rs 3,787.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 20,689.0 (down 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Marico (down 1.7%) and RADICO KHAITAN (down 1.0%).

GODREJ AGROVET (up 5.2%) and Tata Coffee (up 3.6%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, PG Electroplast has moved up from Rs 1,598.3 to Rs 3,787.0, registering a gain of Rs 2,188.7 (up 136.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,595.4 to 20,689.0, registering a gain of 11.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 159.8%), JYOTHY LABS (up 115.6%) and BOM.BURMAH (up 102.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.1%) and Kotak Bank (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,136.5 . HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,915.4 to 79,466.4, registering a gain of 15,551.0 points (up 24.3%).

PG Electroplast Financial Update...

PG Electroplast net profit grew 78.2% YoY to Rs 716 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 402 million a year ago. Net sales rose 30.0% to Rs 10,766 million during the period as against Rs 8,282 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PG Electroplast reported 107.0% increase in net profit to Rs 775 million compared to net profit of Rs 374 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 94.3% to Rs 21,599 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PG Electroplast, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 72.1.
