PG Electroplast Gains 6%; BSE FMCG Index Up 0.5%

PG Electroplast share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 713.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 21,215.9 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are CCL PRODUCTS (up 4.8%) and Marico (up 3.4%).

Gillette India (down 1.8%) and BOM.BURMAH (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PG Electroplast has moved up from Rs 238.8 to Rs 713.9, registering a gain of Rs 475.1 (up 199.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,985.7 to 21,215.9, registering a gain of 11.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 188.3%), BOM.BURMAH (up 77.9%) and RADICO KHAITAN (up 61.2%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,236.3 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 6.6%) and NTPC (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,274.1 (up 0.3%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,236.3, registering a gain of 14,062.1 points (up 21.3%).

PG Electroplast Financial Update...

PG Electroplast net profit grew 57.2% YoY to Rs 195 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 124 million a year ago. Net sales rose 45.8% to Rs 6,713 million during the period as against Rs 4,604 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, PG Electroplast reported 76.9% increase in net profit to Rs 1,370 million compared to net profit of Rs 775 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 27.2% to Rs 27,465 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PG Electroplast, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 95.7.
