PG Electroplast share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 394.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 22,553.1 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are AVANTI FEEDS (up 4.9%) and Shree Renuka Sugars (up 4.8%).

Dabur (down 4.2%) and Hindustan Unilever (down 3.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PG Electroplast has moved up from Rs 148.0 to Rs 394.0, registering a gain of Rs 246.0 (up 166.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,998.8 to 22,553.1, registering a gain of 18.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 155.6%), JYOTHY LABS (up 115.0%) and BOM.BURMAH (up 93.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,217.5 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 3.0%) and Bajaj Finance (down 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,409.1 (down 0.3%). Hindustan Unilever and Tata Consumer Products are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,384.8 to 80,217.5, registering a gain of 13,832.7 points (up 20.8%).

PG Electroplast Financial Update...

PG Electroplast net profit grew 78.2% YoY to Rs 716 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 402 million a year ago. Net sales rose 30.0% to Rs 10,766 million during the period as against Rs 8,282 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PG Electroplast reported 107.0% increase in net profit to Rs 775 million compared to net profit of Rs 374 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 94.3% to Rs 21,599 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PG Electroplast, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 75.1.
