PERSISTENT SYSTEMS share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 4,215.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 36,999.0 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are KPIT TECHNOLOGIES (up 6.3%) and INTELLECT DESIGN (up 4.3%).

ROUTE MOBILE (down 3.0%) and Firstsource Solutions (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS has moved up from Rs 2,453.5 to Rs 4,215.3, registering a gain of Rs 1,761.7 (up 71.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 28,891.5 to 36,999.0, registering a gain of 28.1% during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,080.1 (up 0.2%). Dr. Reddys and ONGC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 79,255.8, registering a gain of 16,285.8 points (up 25.9%).

PERSISTENT SYSTEMS Financial Update...

PERSISTENT SYSTEMS net profit grew 25.4% YoY to Rs 3,153 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,515 million a year ago. Net sales rose 14.9% to Rs 25,905 million during the period as against Rs 22,545 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS reported 18.7% increase in net profit to Rs 10,935 million compared to net profit of Rs 9,211 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.6% to Rs 98,216 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 59.4.
