PENNAR INDUSTRIES share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 187.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,378.8 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Vedanta (up 1.3%) and APOLLO TUBES (up 1.1%).

NMDC (down 0.5%) and JSW Steel (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PENNAR INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 77.0 to Rs 187.3, registering a gain of Rs 110.3 (up 143.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 20,503.1 to 33,378.8, registering a gain of 62.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were NMDC (up 139.7%), Hindustan Zinc (up 113.9%) and Coal India (up 110.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (up 1.2%) and Bharti Airtel (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,176.0 (up 0.1%). Wipro and ONGC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,915.4 to 79,620.3, registering a gain of 15,704.9 points (up 24.6%).

PENNAR INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

PENNAR INDUSTRIES net profit grew 20.8% YoY to Rs 288 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 239 million a year ago. Net sales rose 23.1% to Rs 8,228 million during the period as against Rs 6,684 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PENNAR INDUSTRIES reported 80.0% increase in net profit to Rs 754 million compared to net profit of Rs 419 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 27.8% to Rs 28,946 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PENNAR INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 25.7.
