PEE CEE COSM Gains 6%; BSE FMCG Index Down 0.7%

PEE CEE COSM share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 597.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 23,000.2 (down 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are Gujarat Ambuja (up 7.5%) and Tata Coffee (up 3.6%).

Marico (down 1.9%) and Gillette India (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, PEE CEE COSM has moved up from Rs 283.8 to Rs 597.0, registering a gain of Rs 313.2 (up 110.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,727.9 to 23,000.2, registering a gain of 22.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 162.2%), BOM.BURMAH (up 154.3%) and Colgate (up 83.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,804.8 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Maruti Suzuki (up 2.2%) and L&T (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,043.3 (up 0.1%). Shriram Transport and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,433.3 to 81,804.8, registering a gain of 16,371.5 points (up 25.0%).

PEE CEE COSM Financial Update...

PEE CEE COSM net profit grew 38.0% YoY to Rs 34 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 24 million a year ago. Net sales rose 8.5% to Rs 399 million during the period as against Rs 367 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, PEE CEE COSM reported 47.5% increase in net profit to Rs 25 million compared to net profit of Rs 17 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 34.3% to Rs 1,245 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PEE CEE COSM, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.9.
