OM METALS INFRA Gains 10%; BSE METAL Index Up 1.3%

OM METALS INFRA share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 153.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,927.2 (up 1.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are JSW Steel (up 2.5%) and Vedanta (up 1.6%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 0.5%) and Hindustan Zinc (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, OM METALS INFRA has moved up from Rs 119.2 to Rs 153.1, registering a gain of Rs 33.9 (up 28.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 24,068.4 to 30,927.2, registering a gain of 28.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 96.6%), Hindustan Zinc (up 67.5%) and Jindal Steel (up 37.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,248.1 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 3.9%) and JSW Steel (up 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,275.3 (up 0.6%). Ultratech Cement and APOLLO HOSPITALS are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,248.1, registering a gain of 14,073.9 points (up 21.3%).

OM METALS INFRA Financial Update...

OM METALS INFRA net profit fell 83.4% YoY to Rs 39 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 236 million a year ago. Net sales declined 14.8% to Rs 2,384 million during the period as against Rs 2,798 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, OM METALS INFRA reported 262.2% increase in net profit to Rs 471 million compared to net profit of Rs 130 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 39.4% to Rs 11,138 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of OM METALS INFRA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 57.2.
