OBEROI REALTY Plunges 5%; BSE REALTY Index Down 3.5%

OBEROI REALTY share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,922.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,181.6 (down 3.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 4.1%) and Godrej Properties (down 3.4%).

Over the last one year, OBEROI REALTY has moved up from Rs 1,128.2 to Rs 1,922.7, registering a gain of Rs 794.5 (up 70.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,870.1 to 8,181.6, registering a gain of 68.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 147.7%), Sobha (up 133.3%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 111.8%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,072.8 (down 0.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 2.6%) and Bajaj Finserv (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,781.1 (down 0.8%). Bajaj Auto and Shriram Transport are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,166.9 to 81,072.8, registering a gain of 14,905.9 points (up 22.5%).

OBEROI REALTY Financial Update...

OBEROI REALTY net profit grew 82.0% YoY to Rs 5,823 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,199 million a year ago. Net sales rose 54.4% to Rs 14,052 million during the period as against Rs 9,100 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, OBEROI REALTY reported 1.2% increase in net profit to Rs 19,266 million compared to net profit of Rs 19,045 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.2% to Rs 44,958 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of OBEROI REALTY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 32.1.
