Nesco Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.6%

Nesco share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,039.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,054.5 (up 2.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (up 4.4%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 3.9%).

Sobha (down 1.1%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Nesco has moved up from Rs 804.1 to Rs 1,039.9, registering a gain of Rs 235.8 (up 29.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 5,535.1 to 8,054.5, registering a gain of 45.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 88.8%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 87.5%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 61.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,909.3 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (up 4.0%) and SBI (up 3.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,194.3 (up 1.2%). ONGC and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,930.8 to 79,909.3, registering a gain of 13,978.6 points (up 21.2%).

Nesco Financial Update...

Nesco net profit grew 21.7% YoY to Rs 1,069 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 878 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.9% to Rs 1,921 million during the period as against Rs 1,749 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Nesco reported 24.8% increase in net profit to Rs 3,628 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,906 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 24.2% to Rs 6,782 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Nesco, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.5.
