Nesco Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.7%

Nesco share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 980.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,304.6 (up 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are SUNTECK REALTY (up 6.6%) and Sobha (up 2.8%).

INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 1.5%) and Godrej Properties (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Nesco has moved up from Rs 674.6 to Rs 980.0, registering a gain of Rs 305.5 (up 45.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,877.8 to 8,304.6, registering a gain of 70.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 159.4%), Sobha (up 141.4%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 111.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,786.1 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 2.4%) and JSW Steel (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,064.1 (down 0.3%). Bajaj Auto and Bajaj Finance are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,473.1 to 81,786.1, registering a gain of 15,313.0 points (up 23.0%).

Nesco Financial Update...

Nesco net profit fell 8.3% YoY to Rs 698 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 761 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.5% to Rs 1,414 million during the period as against Rs 1,366 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Nesco reported 24.8% increase in net profit to Rs 3,628 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,906 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 24.2% to Rs 6,782 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Nesco, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.4.
