National Buildings Gains 8%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.2%

National Buildings share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 188.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,120.6 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 1.2%) and Sobha (up 0.3%).

INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 1.4%) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, National Buildings has moved up from Rs 50.9 to Rs 188.3, registering a gain of Rs 137.4 (up 270.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,308.5 to 8,120.6, registering a gain of 88.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 204.2%), Sobha (up 193.6%) and Phoenix Mill (up 104.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,804.1 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.1%) and Tata Motors (up 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,027.8 . LTIMINDTREE and M&M are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,996.6 to 81,804.1, registering a gain of 16,807.5 points (up 25.9%).

National Buildings Financial Update...

National Buildings net profit grew 38.4% YoY to Rs 1,072 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 775 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.3% to Rs 21,442 million during the period as against Rs 19,261 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, National Buildings reported 16.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2,780 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,379 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 13.8% to Rs 87,544 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of National Buildings, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 76.3.
