National Buildings Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 2.7%

National Buildings share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 101.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,902.6 (up 2.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 4.9%) and Sobha (up 4.7%).

Brigade Enterprises (down 1.0%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, National Buildings has moved up from Rs 44.9 to Rs 101.0, registering a gain of Rs 56.1 (up 124.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 5,165.4 to 7,902.6, registering a gain of 53.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 117.5%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 109.6%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 77.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,366.2 (up 1.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are TCS (up 4.1%) and Infosys (up 3.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,481.9 (up 1.1%). Bharat Electronics and Adani Enterprises are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,958.7 to 80,366.2, registering a gain of 15,407.5 points (up 23.7%).

National Buildings Financial Update...

National Buildings net profit grew 38.4% YoY to Rs 1,072 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 775 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.8% to Rs 21,442 million during the period as against Rs 19,179 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, National Buildings reported 49.1% increase in net profit to Rs 4,144 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,780 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.5% to Rs 104,326 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of National Buildings, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 61.4.
