National Buildings Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.7%

National Buildings share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 182.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,560.2 (up 1.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are DLF (up 4.5%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 2.8%).

INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 1.0%) is among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, National Buildings has moved up from Rs 42.8 to Rs 182.8, registering a gain of Rs 140.0 (up 327.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,282.5 to 8,560.2, registering a gain of 99.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 239.5%), Sobha (up 220.5%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 124.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 81,287.4 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (down 2.3%) and Titan (down 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,824.9 . Titan and Tata Consumer Products are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,355.7 to 81,287.4, registering a gain of 14,931.7 points (up 22.5%).

National Buildings Financial Update...

National Buildings net profit grew 24.3% YoY to Rs 1,414 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,137 million a year ago. Net sales rose 43.0% to Rs 40,245 million during the period as against Rs 28,134 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, National Buildings reported 16.8% increase in net profit to Rs 2,780 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,379 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 13.8% to Rs 87,544 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of National Buildings, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 79.4.
