National Buildings Gains 5%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.0%

National Buildings share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 91.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,692.0 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are DLF (up 7.5%) and Godrej Properties (up 2.3%).

Phoenix Mill (down 6.5%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (down 2.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, National Buildings has moved up from Rs 42.3 to Rs 91.8, registering a gain of Rs 49.4 (up 116.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,604.3 to 7,692.0, registering a gain of 67.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 124.3%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 119.8%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 92.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,221.1 (up 1.0%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (up 3.4%) and M&M (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,400.4 (up 0.9%). Shriram Transport and Adani Enterprises are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 80,221.1, registering a gain of 16,172.0 points (up 25.2%).

National Buildings Financial Update...

National Buildings net profit grew 38.4% YoY to Rs 1,072 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 775 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.8% to Rs 21,442 million during the period as against Rs 19,179 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, National Buildings reported 49.1% increase in net profit to Rs 4,144 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,780 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.5% to Rs 104,326 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of National Buildings, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 55.8.
