National Buildings Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.2%

National Buildings share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 97.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,011.5 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 1.3%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.8%).

SUNTECK REALTY (down 0.8%) and Sobha (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, National Buildings has moved up from Rs 45.3 to Rs 97.4, registering a gain of Rs 52.1 (up 115.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 5,597.5 to 8,011.5, registering a gain of 43.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 87.9%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 72.0%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 59.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,281.6 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (up 1.4%) and Ultratech Cement (up 0.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,277.5 . Adani Enterprises and Hindustan Unilever are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,174.2 to 80,281.6, registering a gain of 14,107.4 points (up 21.3%).

National Buildings Financial Update...

National Buildings net profit grew 52.7% YoY to Rs 1,249 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 818 million a year ago. Net sales rose 19.4% to Rs 24,587 million during the period as against Rs 20,585 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, National Buildings reported 49.1% increase in net profit to Rs 4,144 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,780 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 17.5% to Rs 104,326 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of National Buildings, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 54.0.
