NURECA share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 284.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 42,895.2 (up 0.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are DR. LAL PATHLABS (down 5.9%) and Pfizer (down 3.2%).

ASTER DM HEALTHCARE (up 10.1%) and SYNGENE INTERNATIONAL (up 5.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, NURECA has moved down from Rs 342.7 to Rs 284.0, registering a loss of Rs 58.7 (down 17.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,503.7 to 42,895.2, registering a gain of 56.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 208.5%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 122.3%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 120.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,065.2 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 5.8%) and Nestle (down 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,414.6 (down 0.1%). Hindustan Unilever and SBI LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 80,065.2, registering a gain of 15,493.3 points (up 24.0%).

NURECA Financial Update...

NURECA net profit grew 335.1% YoY to Rs 17 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 7 million a year ago. Net sales declined 4.5% to Rs 203 million during the period as against Rs 212 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NURECA reported 78.3% increase in net profit to Rs -18 million compared to net loss of Rs 83 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 17.4% to Rs 919 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NURECA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 494.0.
