NURECA Gains 9%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.2%

NURECA share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 303.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 42,154.5 (up 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are FORTIS HEALTHCARE (up 4.0%) and POLY MEDICURE (up 1.5%).

ERIS LIFESCIENCES (down 2.1%) and Cadila Healthcare (down 1.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NURECA has moved down from Rs 322.2 to Rs 303.1, registering a loss of Rs 19.1 (down 5.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,021.8 to 42,154.5, registering a gain of 50.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 129.4%), Glenmark Pharma (up 117.2%) and GSK Pharma (up 110.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,119.6 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (up 1.7%) and Sun Pharma (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,842.6 (up 0.1%). Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 81,119.6, registering a gain of 15,903.5 points (up 24.4%).

NURECA Financial Update...

NURECA net profit grew 335.1% YoY to Rs 17 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 7 million a year ago. Net sales declined 4.5% to Rs 203 million during the period as against Rs 212 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NURECA reported 78.3% increase in net profit to Rs -18 million compared to net loss of Rs 83 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 17.4% to Rs 919 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NURECA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 527.1.
