NILE. Gains 9%; BSE METAL Index Up 0.0%

NILE. share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 1,388.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 33,736.4 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are APOLLO TUBES (up 3.8%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 2.5%).

Tata Steel (down 1.4%) and NMDC (down 1.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NILE. has moved up from Rs 813.9 to Rs 1,388.4, registering a gain of Rs 574.5 (up 70.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 20,758.3 to 33,736.4, registering a gain of 62.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were NMDC (up 151.5%), Hindustan Zinc (up 115.4%) and Coal India (up 111.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 2.2%) and L&T (down 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,501.1 (down 0.3%). Ultratech Cement and Adani Enterprises are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,327.7 to 77,209.9, registering a gain of 13,882.2 points (up 21.9%).

NILE. Financial Update...

NILE. net profit fell 29.0% YoY to Rs 61 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 85 million a year ago. Net sales declined 19.8% to Rs 1,741 million during the period as against Rs 2,171 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NILE. reported 5.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 226 million compared to net profit of Rs 238 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 14.8% to Rs 8,063 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NILE., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.4.
