NCC Plunges 4%; BSE REALTY Index Down 1.5%

NCC share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 275.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,584.1 (down 1.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are SUNTECK REALTY (down 3.2%) and DLF (down 2.9%).

Godrej Properties (up 0.2%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 144.3 to Rs 275.3, registering a gain of Rs 131.0 (up 90.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,641.3 to 7,584.1, registering a gain of 63.4% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 126.0%), Sobha (up 124.9%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 97.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,359.7 (down 0.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Indusind Bank (down 19.4%) and M&M (down 4.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Indusind Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,135.5 (down 1.1%). Indusind Bank and M&M are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,571.9 to 79,359.7, registering a gain of 14,787.8 points (up 22.9%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 21.9% YoY to Rs 2,222 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,822 million a year ago. Net sales rose 26.2% to Rs 55,280 million during the period as against Rs 43,804 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, NCC reported 14.6% increase in net profit to Rs 7,404 million compared to net profit of Rs 6,462 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 34.0% to Rs 208,450 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 22.3.
