NCC Gains 8%; BSE REALTY Index Down 1.8%

NCC share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 340.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,357.2 (down 1.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today is Phoenix Mill (up 1.4%).

SUNTECK REALTY (down 4.1%) and DLF (down 2.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 140.6 to Rs 340.3, registering a gain of Rs 199.7 (up 142.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,292.9 to 8,357.2, registering a gain of 94.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 227.3%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 215.3%) and Phoenix Mill (up 130.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,368.3 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are L&T (down 3.6%) and Bajaj Finance (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,494.4 (down 0.1%). L&T and Hindalco are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,097.4 to 80,368.3, registering a gain of 13,270.9 points (up 19.8%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 20.9% YoY to Rs 2,383 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,971 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.0% to Rs 64,849 million during the period as against Rs 49,490 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NCC reported 30.8% increase in net profit to Rs 6,462 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,940 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 39.6% to Rs 155,534 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.1.
