NCC Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.2%

NCC share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 326.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,913.4 (up 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are DLF (up 2.5%) and OBEROI REALTY (up 2.1%).

Brigade Enterprises (down 1.1%) and Phoenix Mill (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 155.8 to Rs 326.4, registering a gain of Rs 170.6 (up 109.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,341.4 to 7,913.4, registering a gain of 82.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 196.4%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 179.6%) and Brigade Enterprises (up 94.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,184.3 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.4%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,218.5 (up 0.9%). ONGC and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,184.3, registering a gain of 13,230.8 points (up 20.1%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 21.9% YoY to Rs 2,222 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,822 million a year ago. Net sales rose 26.2% to Rs 55,280 million during the period as against Rs 43,804 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NCC reported 30.8% increase in net profit to Rs 6,462 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,940 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 39.6% to Rs 155,534 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 26.4.
