NCC Gains 4%; BSE REALTY Index Up 0.0%

NCC share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 344.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 8,679.2 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE REALTY index today are Phoenix Mill (up 1.7%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 1.2%).

Sobha (down 1.7%) and Godrej Properties (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, NCC has moved up from Rs 121.8 to Rs 344.3, registering a gain of Rs 222.5 (up 182.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved up from 4,196.4 to 8,679.2, registering a gain of 106.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Sobha (up 271.6%), PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 220.2%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 154.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,039.7 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (up 2.9%) and ICICI Bank (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,299.7 (up 0.7%). HDFC Bank and Axis Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,039.7, registering a gain of 14,834.7 points (up 22.8%).

NCC Financial Update...

NCC net profit grew 20.9% YoY to Rs 2,383 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,971 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.0% to Rs 64,849 million during the period as against Rs 49,490 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, NCC reported 30.8% increase in net profit to Rs 6,462 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,940 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 39.6% to Rs 155,534 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of NCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.4.
