Mirc Elec share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 28.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 61,977.2 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are ORIENT ELECTRIC (up 2.6%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (up 2.4%).

VAIBHAV GEMS (down 1.7%) and Blue Star (down 1.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Mirc Elec has moved up from Rs 19.9 to Rs 28.7, registering a gain of Rs 8.8 (up 44.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 43,590.0 to 61,977.2, registering a gain of 42.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 161.3%), Blue Star (up 126.7%) and Voltas (up 106.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,707.5 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (down 1.4%) and Tata Steel (down 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,692.1 . ICICI Bank and Ultratech Cement are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 80,707.5, registering a gain of 15,491.4 points (up 23.8%).

Mirc Elec Financial Update...

Mirc Elec net profit grew 107.1% YoY to Rs 4 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 62 million a year ago. Net sales rose 24.2% to Rs 2,278 million during the period as against Rs 1,835 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Mirc Elec reported 37.9% increase in net profit to Rs -125 million compared to net loss of Rs 201 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 6.9% to Rs 11,102 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Mirc Elec, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -11.9.
