Mirc Elec share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 22.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 60,083.7 (up 2.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (up 6.4%) and DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 3.0%).

ORIENT ELECTRIC (down 2.5%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 1.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Mirc Elec has moved down from Rs 23.2 to Rs 22.4, registering a loss of Rs 0.7 (down 3.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 43,122.4 to 60,083.7, registering a gain of 39.3% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 145.2%), Blue Star (up 131.0%) and Voltas (up 86.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,314.2 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (down 2.7%) and Tata Motors (down 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,234.3 (down 0.5%). HDFC Bank and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,995.8 to 79,314.2, registering a gain of 13,318.4 points (up 20.2%).

Mirc Elec Financial Update...

Mirc Elec net profit fell 598.2% YoY to Rs -511 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 73 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.9% to Rs 2,968 million during the period as against Rs 2,250 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Mirc Elec reported 37.9% increase in net profit to Rs -125 million compared to net loss of Rs 201 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 6.9% to Rs 11,102 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Mirc Elec, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -8.3.
