Mic Electronics share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 86.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 20,735.3 .

Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Emami (down 1.8%) and BOM.BURMAH (down 1.0%).

Tata Coffee (up 3.6%) and VST Industries (up 1.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Mic Electronics has moved up from Rs 23.5 to Rs 86.0, registering a gain of Rs 62.5 (up 265.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,894.7 to 20,735.3, registering a gain of 9.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 156.9%), JYOTHY LABS (up 110.1%) and BOM.BURMAH (up 103.6%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HDFC Bank (down 4.0%) and M&M (down 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,187.4 (down 0.5%). HDFC Bank and M&M are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 79,550.8, registering a gain of 14,345.7 points (up 22.0%).

Mic Electronics Financial Update...

Mic Electronics net profit grew 1940.8% YoY to Rs 496 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 24 million a year ago. Net sales rose 108.6% to Rs 230 million during the period as against Rs 110 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Mic Electronics reported 91.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 2 million compared to net profit of Rs 30 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 49.0% to Rs 229 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Mic Electronics, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 33.2.
