Maharashtra Seamless share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 594.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 31,190.8 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Coal India (up 0.9%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 0.4%).

NMDC (down 0.5%) and APOLLO TUBES (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Maharashtra Seamless has moved down from Rs 643.5 to Rs 594.0, registering a loss of Rs 49.5 (down 7.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 22,460.5 to 31,190.8, registering a gain of 38.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Vedanta (up 116.2%), Hindustan Zinc (up 76.4%) and Hindalco (up 49.5%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 79,742.9, registering a gain of 15,693.9 points (up 24.5%).

Maharashtra Seamless Financial Update...

Maharashtra Seamless net profit fell 12.2% YoY to Rs 2,241 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 2,553 million a year ago. Net sales declined 15.9% to Rs 12,918 million during the period as against Rs 15,352 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Maharashtra Seamless reported 24.0% increase in net profit to Rs 9,517 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,676 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 5.5% to Rs 54,041 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Maharashtra Seamless, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.2.
