MTAR TECHNOLOGIES share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 1,745.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,731.1 (up 2.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Siemens (up 5.5%) and HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 4.9%).

Lakshmi Machine (down 1.2%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MTAR TECHNOLOGIES has moved down from Rs 2,606.2 to Rs 1,745.0, registering a loss of Rs 861.2 (down 33.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 47,570.0 to 70,731.1, registering a gain of 48.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 128.2%), Siemens (up 110.7%) and BHEL (up 109.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,634.8 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 4.8%) and M&M (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,013.2 . TATA STEEL 2% CCPS and Dr Reddy NCD1 are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,226.0 to 81,634.8, registering a gain of 16,408.8 points (up 25.2%).

MTAR TECHNOLOGIES Financial Update...

MTAR TECHNOLOGIES net profit fell 78.2% YoY to Rs 44 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 203 million a year ago. Net sales declined 15.9% to Rs 1,283 million during the period as against Rs 1,526 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, MTAR TECHNOLOGIES reported 45.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 561 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,034 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 1.2% to Rs 5,808 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MTAR TECHNOLOGIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 133.5.
