MOSCHIP SEMI Plunges 4%; BSE IT Index Down 0.1%

MOSCHIP SEMI share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 287.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 36,325.3 (down 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE IT index today are Oracle Financial Services (down 2.5%) and ROUTE MOBILE (down 1.7%).

Eclerx Services (up 1.7%) and Sonata Software (up 1.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, MOSCHIP SEMI has moved up from Rs 79.4 to Rs 287.4, registering a gain of Rs 208.0 (up 262.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 28,891.5 to 36,325.3, registering a gain of 25.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 147.7%), Birlasoft (up 101.2%) and ZENSAR TECHNOLOGIES (up 96.9%).

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,864.9 (up 0.6%). Reliance Ind. and Bharti Airtel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 62,970.0 to 78,664.1, registering a gain of 15,694.1 points (up 24.9%).

MOSCHIP SEMI Financial Update...

MOSCHIP SEMI net profit fell 43.1% YoY to Rs 9 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 15 million a year ago. Net sales rose 40.1% to Rs 754 million during the period as against Rs 538 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, MOSCHIP SEMI reported 4.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 62 million compared to net profit of Rs 65 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 34.3% to Rs 1,984 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MOSCHIP SEMI, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 550.3.
