MOREPEN LABS share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 58.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 36,817.1 (up 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are KIMS (up 4.3%) and DR. LAL PATHLABS (up 2.1%).

ASTER DM HEALTHCARE (down 2.7%) and Dr. Reddys (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MOREPEN LABS has moved up from Rs 31.2 to Rs 58.8, registering a gain of Rs 27.6 (up 88.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 25,114.1 to 36,817.1, registering a gain of 46.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Cadila Healthcare (up 92.7%), Natco Pharma (up 92.1%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 90.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,489.1 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Ultratech Cement (up 1.4%) and M&M (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,600.3 (up 0.3%). Hindalco and Ultratech Cement are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,523.2 to 77,489.1, registering a gain of 13,966.0 points (up 22.0%).

MOREPEN LABS Financial Update...

MOREPEN LABS net profit grew 248.7% YoY to Rs 287 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 82 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.3% to Rs 4,231 million during the period as against Rs 3,637 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, MOREPEN LABS reported 62.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 387 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,017 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 8.4% to Rs 14,175 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MOREPEN LABS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 31.1.
