MOREPEN LABS Gains 12%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.6%

MOREPEN LABS share price has zoomed 12% and is presently trading at Rs 67.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 41,409.3 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are CAPLIN POINT (up 11.8%) and AARTI DRUGS (up 5.7%).

SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (down 2.9%) and FORTIS HEALTHCARE (down 2.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MOREPEN LABS has moved up from Rs 35.7 to Rs 67.9, registering a gain of Rs 32.2 (up 90.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 27,819.2 to 41,409.3, registering a gain of 48.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 127.8%), Jubilant Pharmova (up 108.4%) and GSK Pharma (up 107.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,479.3 (up 0.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Steel (up 1.3%) and NTPC (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and NTPC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,575.7 (up 0.1%). Hindalco and BPCL are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,401.9 to 80,479.3, registering a gain of 15,077.4 points (up 23.1%).

MOREPEN LABS Financial Update...

MOREPEN LABS net profit grew 147.2% YoY to Rs 362 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 146 million a year ago. Net sales rose 13.5% to Rs 4,552 million during the period as against Rs 4,010 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, MOREPEN LABS reported 62.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 387 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,017 million during FY22. Revenue of the company fell 8.4% to Rs 14,175 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MOREPEN LABS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 31.5.
