MODISON METALS share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 173.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,548.1 (down 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Forge (up 3.2%) and TIMKEN INDIA (up 2.9%).

Carborundum Universal (down 4.0%) and L&T (down 2.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MODISON METALS has moved up from Rs 78.9 to Rs 173.0, registering a gain of Rs 94.2 (up 119.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,182.8 to 71,548.1, registering a gain of 65.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 208.2%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 149.0%) and Bharat Electronics (up 131.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,886.2 (down 0.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (down 3.6%) and Infosys (down 2.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,098.7 (down 0.8%). LTIMINDTREE and Grasim Industries are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 78,886.2, registering a gain of 12,932.7 points (up 19.6%).

MODISON METALS Financial Update...

MODISON METALS net profit fell 19.7% YoY to Rs 62 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 77 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.9% to Rs 1,136 million during the period as against Rs 874 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, MODISON METALS reported 91.1% increase in net profit to Rs 214 million compared to net profit of Rs 112 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 20.9% to Rs 4,046 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MODISON METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 26.3.
