MODISON METALS share price has zoomed 15% and is presently trading at Rs 173.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,231.6 (up 1.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are GMR Infra (up 4.0%) and Lakshmi Machine (up 3.0%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 2.2%) and Finolex Cables (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MODISON METALS has moved up from Rs 78.9 to Rs 173.0, registering a gain of Rs 94.1 (up 119.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,182.8 to 71,231.6, registering a gain of 65.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 206.3%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 145.9%) and Bharat Electronics (up 128.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,254.5 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.0%) and M&M (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,216.1 (up 0.9%). ONGC and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,254.5, registering a gain of 13,301.0 points (up 20.2%).

MODISON METALS Financial Update...

MODISON METALS net profit fell 19.7% YoY to Rs 62 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 77 million a year ago. Net sales rose 29.9% to Rs 1,136 million during the period as against Rs 874 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, MODISON METALS reported 91.1% increase in net profit to Rs 214 million compared to net profit of Rs 112 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 20.9% to Rs 4,046 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MODISON METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 26.3.
