MISHRA DHATU NIGAM share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 417.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 30,754.9 (down 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE METAL index today are NMDC (down 1.6%) and SAIL (down 1.3%).

Hindustan Zinc (up 1.7%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, MISHRA DHATU NIGAM has moved up from Rs 373.2 to Rs 417.9, registering a gain of Rs 44.7 (up 12.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 21,426.3 to 30,754.9, registering a gain of 43.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Coal India (up 128.9%), NMDC (up 95.8%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 89.1%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,393.8 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (down 3.0%) and NTPC (down 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,295.8 (down 0.3%). Adani Enterprises and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,846.5 to 79,393.8, registering a gain of 13,547.3 points (up 20.6%).

MISHRA DHATU NIGAM Financial Update...

MISHRA DHATU NIGAM net profit fell 72.4% YoY to Rs 51 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 185 million a year ago. Net sales declined 12.9% to Rs 1,635 million during the period as against Rs 1,877 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, MISHRA DHATU NIGAM reported 11.5% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,563 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,766 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 1.4% to Rs 8,719 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MISHRA DHATU NIGAM, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 100.6.
