METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 2,113.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,114.5 (down 0.8%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are Glenmark Pharma (down 6.9%) and FDC (down 5.0%).

APOLLO HOSPITALS (up 6.3%) and NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA (up 2.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE has moved up from Rs 1,573.4 to Rs 2,113.2, registering a gain of Rs 539.8 (up 34.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,089.2 to 44,114.5, registering a gain of 57.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 218.3%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 124.5%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 118.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,531.0 (down 1.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tech Mahindra (down 2.6%) and Tata Motors (down 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,201.7 (down 1.2%). Hindalco and Trent are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,958.7 to 79,531.0, registering a gain of 14,572.3 points (up 22.4%).

METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE Financial Update...

METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE net profit grew 31.5% YoY to Rs 381 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 290 million a year ago. Net sales rose 13.1% to Rs 3,134 million during the period as against Rs 2,771 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE reported 10.4% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,285 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,434 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 5.2% to Rs 12,077 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of METROPOLIS HEALTHCARE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 78.7.
