MEDICAMEN BI share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 480.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,227.8 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are FDC (up 10.2%) and MAX HEALTHCARE INSTITUTE (up 4.6%).

GRANULES INDIA (down 9.6%) and POLY MEDICURE (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MEDICAMEN BI has moved down from Rs 699.7 to Rs 480.2, registering a loss of Rs 219.6 (down 31.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,436.8 to 44,227.8, registering a gain of 55.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 132.2%), SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (up 128.7%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 114.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,736.5 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.5%) and Kotak Bank (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,002.2 (up 0.3%). Shriram Transport and Hero Motocorp are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 67,127.1 to 81,736.5, registering a gain of 14,609.4 points (up 21.8%).

MEDICAMEN BI Financial Update...

MEDICAMEN BI net profit fell 79.8% YoY to Rs 8 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 39 million a year ago. Net sales rose 2.6% to Rs 430 million during the period as against Rs 419 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, MEDICAMEN BI reported 1.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 147 million compared to net profit of Rs 149 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 22.0% to Rs 1,409 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MEDICAMEN BI, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 96.2.
