MAMAEARTH Gains 9%; BSE FMCG Index Down 0.4%

MAMAEARTH share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 497.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 22,465.1 (down 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE FMCG index today are HATSUN AGRO PRODUCTS (up 5.9%) and BOM.BURMAH (up 4.8%).

Godrej Consumer (down 2.5%) and AVANTI FEEDS (down 2.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MAMAEARTH has moved up from Rs 0.0 to Rs 497.0, registering a gain of Rs 497.0 .

On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 18,781.3 to 22,465.1, registering a gain of 19.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were BOM.BURMAH (up 116.1%), Godfrey Phillips (up 101.4%) and Colgate (up 73.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 78,886.2 (down 0.7%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (down 3.6%) and Infosys (down 2.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,098.7 (down 0.8%). LTIMINDTREE and Grasim Industries are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 78,886.2, registering a gain of 12,932.7 points (up 19.6%).

MAMAEARTH Financial Update...

MAMAEARTH net profit fell {profitpercent} YoY to Rs 305 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs {profitnumberprev} million a year ago. Net sales declined {salespercent} to Rs 4,711 million during the period as against Rs {salesnumberprev} million in {quarterprev}.

For the year ended March 2024, MAMAEARTH reported 173.2% increase in net profit to Rs 1,105 million compared to net loss of Rs 1,510 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 28.6% to Rs 19,199 million during FY24.
