Linde India share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 8,725.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 30,062.2 (down 1.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are Petronet LNG (down 2.6%) and GAIL (down 2.0%).

Indraprastha Gas (up 1.3%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Linde India has moved up from Rs 4,300.5 to Rs 8,725.0, registering a gain of Rs 4,424.5 (up 102.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 19,003.7 to 30,062.2, registering a gain of 58.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 105.9%), ONGC (up 81.0%) and IOC (up 74.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,617.3 (down 0.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 6.7%) and HCl Tech. (down 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,212.7 (down 0.9%). M&M and HCl Tech. are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,344.2 to 79,617.3, registering a gain of 14,273.1 points (up 21.8%).

Linde India Financial Update...

Linde India net profit grew 5.7% YoY to Rs 1,043 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 987 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.0% to Rs 6,301 million during the period as against Rs 6,302 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Linde India reported 6.1% increase in net profit to Rs 5,381 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,072 million during FY21. Revenue of the company grew 48.5% to Rs 31,355 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Linde India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 174.5.
