Linde India share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 7,000.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 26,804.9 (down 1.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GAIL (down 4.3%) and GUJARAT GAS (down 2.8%).

ADANI TOTAL GAS (up 0.1%) is among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, Linde India has moved up from Rs 6,183.5 to Rs 7,000.0, registering a gain of Rs 816.5 (up 13.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 19,354.6 to 26,804.9, registering a gain of 38.5% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 88.2%), Petronet LNG (up 61.4%) and BPCL (up 61.0%).

The BSE Sensex is at 78,675.2 (down 1.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are NTPC (down 3.1%) and Asian Paints (down 2.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,843.0 (down 1.2%). Bharat Electronics and NTPC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,975.6 to 78,675.2, registering a gain of 13,699.6 points (up 21.1%).

Linde India Financial Update...

Linde India net profit fell 2.2% YoY to Rs 1,044 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,067 million a year ago. Net sales declined 10.8% to Rs 6,344 million during the period as against Rs 7,114 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Linde India reported 19.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 4,341 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,381 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.7% to Rs 27,687 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Linde India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 136.5.
