Linde India share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 9,175.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 29,649.7 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are IOC (up 0.4%) and ONGC (up 0.4%).

GUJARAT GAS (down 0.9%) and ADANI TOTAL GAS (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Linde India has moved up from Rs 4,340.4 to Rs 9,175.7, registering a gain of Rs 4,835.4 (up 111.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 18,625.6 to 29,649.7, registering a gain of 59.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were GAIL (up 106.6%), IOC (up 78.3%) and HPCL (up 74.4%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,110.5 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (up 3.3%) and Sun Pharma (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,340.1 (up 0.2%). HCl Tech. and ICICI Bank are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,205.1 to 80,110.5, registering a gain of 14,905.5 points (up 22.9%).

Linde India Financial Update...

Linde India net profit grew 5.7% YoY to Rs 1,043 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 987 million a year ago. Net sales declined 0.0% to Rs 6,301 million during the period as against Rs 6,302 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, Linde India reported 6.1% increase in net profit to Rs 5,381 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,072 million during FY21. Revenue of the company grew 48.5% to Rs 31,355 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Linde India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 183.6.
