LYKA LABS Plunges 6%; BSE HEALTHCARE Index Up 0.1%

LYKA LABS share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 145.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 42,037.7 (up 0.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are GSK Pharma (down 3.4%) and Procter & Gamble Health (down 2.1%).

AARTI DRUGS (up 8.4%) and Abbott India (up 4.0%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, LYKA LABS has moved up from Rs 117.4 to Rs 145.6, registering a gain of Rs 28.3 (up 24.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 28,021.8 to 42,037.7, registering a gain of 50.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were GRANULES INDIA (up 130.3%), Glenmark Pharma (up 115.6%) and GSK Pharma (up 110.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,029.1 (up 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bharti Airtel (up 1.4%) and Asian Paints (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,818.6 (up 0.2%). Grasim Industries and Tata Consumer Products are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,216.1 to 81,029.1, registering a gain of 15,813.0 points (up 24.2%).

LYKA LABS Financial Update...

LYKA LABS net profit grew 166.8% YoY to Rs 13 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 19 million a year ago. Net sales rose 31.6% to Rs 301 million during the period as against Rs 229 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, LYKA LABS reported 80.1% increase in net profit to Rs -26 million compared to net loss of Rs 132 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 19.5% to Rs 1,112 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of LYKA LABS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 866.2.
