LTIMINDTREE Plunges 2%; BSE IT Index Down 0.2%

LTIMINDTREE share price has plunged 2% and is presently trading at Rs 4,986.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 35,625.5 (down 0.2%).

Among the top losers in the BSE IT index today are PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (down 2.2%) and INFIBEAM AVENUES (down 1.3%).

INTELLECT DESIGN (up 0.9%) and Oracle Financial Services (up 0.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, LTIMINDTREE has moved up from Rs 4,908.2 to Rs 4,986.1, registering a gain of Rs 77.9 (up 1.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved up from 29,174.5 to 35,625.5, registering a gain of 22.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were Oracle Financial Services (up 149.0%), INFIBEAM AVENUES (up 110.6%) and Birlasoft (up 102.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 77,192.0 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Titan (down 3.0%) and L&T (down 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,503.7 (down 0.2%). Titan and Coal India are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,228.5 to 77,192.0, registering a gain of 13,963.5 points (up 22.1%).

LTIMINDTREE Financial Update...

LTIMINDTREE net profit fell 1.2% YoY to Rs 11,007 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 11,141 million a year ago. Net sales rose 2.3% to Rs 88,929 million during the period as against Rs 86,910 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, LTIMINDTREE reported 4.0% increase in net profit to Rs 45,846 million compared to net profit of Rs 44,103 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.0% to Rs 355,170 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of LTIMINDTREE, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 32.2.
