Kalpataru Power share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,240.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 66,495.9 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Electronics (up 2.4%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (up 1.4%).

Thermax (down 4.0%) and Honeywell Automation (down 1.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Kalpataru Power has moved up from Rs 665.4 to Rs 1,240.0, registering a gain of Rs 574.6 (up 86.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 45,605.4 to 66,495.9, registering a gain of 45.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 130.8%), Bharat Electronics (up 110.7%) and BHEL (up 98.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,893.7 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Motors (down 3.7%) and Maruti Suzuki (down 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,285.9 (down 0.2%). Tata Motors and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,049.1 to 79,893.7, registering a gain of 15,844.7 points (up 24.7%).

Kalpataru Power Financial Update...

Kalpataru Power net profit grew 39.7% YoY to Rs 1,256 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 899 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.1% to Rs 49,299 million during the period as against Rs 45,184 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Kalpataru Power reported 18.6% increase in net profit to Rs 5,159 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,350 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 20.0% to Rs 196,264 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Kalpataru Power, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 38.5.
