KSB share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 4,990.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 72,684.4 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are V GUARD IND. (up 2.7%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 1.1%).

Thermax (down 1.1%) and Siemens (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KSB has moved up from Rs 2,163.9 to Rs 4,990.0, registering a gain of Rs 2,826.1 (up 130.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,035.1 to 72,684.4, registering a gain of 81.6% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 251.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 188.1%) and Bharat Electronics (up 153.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,358.9 (down 0.1%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (down 1.9%) and Bajaj Finance (down 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,102.7 (down 0.2%). Kotak Bank and Shriram Transport are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,915.4 to 79,358.9, registering a gain of 15,443.5 points (up 24.2%).

KSB Financial Update...

KSB net profit grew 7.1% YoY to Rs 425 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 397 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.2% to Rs 5,442 million during the period as against Rs 4,896 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended December 2023, KSB reported 14.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2,087 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,827 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 23.3% to Rs 22,472 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KSB, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 85.9.
