KSB Gains 4%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.7%

KSB share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 948.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 71,659.6 (down 0.7%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are AIA Engineering (up 1.6%) and V GUARD IND. (up 0.6%).

Siemens (down 1.7%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KSB has moved up from Rs 518.3 to Rs 948.4, registering a gain of Rs 430.1 (up 83.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 43,182.8 to 71,659.6, registering a gain of 65.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 212.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 151.2%) and Bharat Electronics (up 132.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,199.0 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are JSW Steel (down 1.6%) and Infosys (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Nestle.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,230.3 (down 0.3%). Shriram Transport and Infosys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,953.5 to 79,199.0, registering a gain of 13,245.5 points (up 20.1%).

KSB Financial Update...

KSB net profit grew 6.8% YoY to Rs 642 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 601 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.3% to Rs 6,460 million during the period as against Rs 5,913 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended December 2023, KSB reported 14.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2,087 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,827 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 23.3% to Rs 22,472 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KSB, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 80.0.
