K.P. ENERGY share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 588.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 29,341.7 (down 1.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today is Reliance Ind. (up 0.2%).

BPCL (down 2.5%) and IOC (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, K.P. ENERGY has moved up from Rs 191.1 to Rs 588.8, registering a gain of Rs 397.7 (up 208.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 19,153.1 to 29,341.7, registering a gain of 53.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were HPCL (up 145.3%), BPCL (up 88.3%) and IOC (up 77.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (down 4.4%) and Bharti Airtel (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,714.5 (down 0.6%). Tata Consumer Products and Kotak Bank are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,428.1 to 81,028.4, registering a gain of 14,600.3 points (up 22.0%).

K.P. ENERGY Financial Update...

K.P. ENERGY net profit grew 18.9% YoY to Rs 185 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 155 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.6% to Rs 1,272 million during the period as against Rs 1,130 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, K.P. ENERGY reported 32.8% increase in net profit to Rs 583 million compared to net profit of Rs 439 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 7.4% to Rs 4,699 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of K.P. ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 64.5.
