KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 225.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 59,353.3 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Blue Star (up 3.2%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (up 2.6%).

WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (down 0.6%) and Bajaj Electricals (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC has moved up from Rs 124.1 to Rs 225.7, registering a gain of Rs 101.6 (up 81.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 42,725.6 to 59,353.3, registering a gain of 38.9% during the last 12 months.

The BSE Sensex is at 79,963.7 .

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ITC (up 1.7%) and Tata Motors (up 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and HDFC Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,344.7 (up 0.1%). ONGC and Coal India are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,344.2 to 79,963.7, registering a gain of 14,619.5 points (up 22.4%).

KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC Financial Update...

KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC net profit fell 50.2% YoY to Rs 54 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 109 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.2% to Rs 1,685 million during the period as against Rs 1,451 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC reported 53.9% decrease in net profit to Rs 311 million compared to net profit of Rs 674 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 41.5% to Rs 4,735 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KIRLOSKAR ELECTRIC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 106.4.
