KEI INDUSTRIES share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 4,310.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 7,890.9 (down 2.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today are ABB (down 5.4%) and Siemens (down 5.0%).

KEC INTERNATIONAL (up 2.4%) and TORRENT POWER (up 1.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, KEI INDUSTRIES has moved up from Rs 2,422.7 to Rs 4,310.4, registering a gain of Rs 1,887.7 (up 77.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved up from 3,983.3 to 7,890.9, registering a gain of 98.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 232.4%), ADANI POWER (up 185.0%) and TORRENT POWER (up 156.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 80,537.6 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (down 2.0%) and NTPC (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,553.2 (down 0.2%). Bajaj Auto and Hero Motocorp are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 66,589.9 to 80,537.6, registering a gain of 13,947.7 points (up 20.9%).

KEI INDUSTRIES Financial Update...

KEI INDUSTRIES net profit grew 22.1% YoY to Rs 1,686 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,381 million a year ago. Net sales rose 18.8% to Rs 23,193 million during the period as against Rs 19,529 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, KEI INDUSTRIES reported 26.9% increase in net profit to Rs 4,773 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,760 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 20.7% to Rs 69,123 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KEI INDUSTRIES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 67.0.
