KEC INTERNATIONAL share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 953.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 68,739.3 (down 1.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are BHEL (down 2.9%) and Finolex Cables (down 2.6%).

V GUARD IND. (up 2.4%) and Bharat Forge (up 0.5%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, KEC INTERNATIONAL has moved up from Rs 630.8 to Rs 953.8, registering a gain of Rs 323.0 (up 51.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 45,784.4 to 68,739.3, registering a gain of 50.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 132.4%), Bharat Electronics (up 114.4%) and Siemens (up 108.2%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,084.5 (down 1.0%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Sun Pharma (down 2.9%) and Infosys (down 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,076.7 (down 0.9%). Bajaj Auto and IOC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 63,874.9 to 79,084.5, registering a gain of 15,209.6 points (up 23.8%).

KEC INTERNATIONAL Financial Update...

KEC INTERNATIONAL net profit grew 106.9% YoY to Rs 876 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 423 million a year ago. Net sales rose 6.3% to Rs 45,119 million during the period as against Rs 42,436 million in April-June 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, KEC INTERNATIONAL reported 97.0% increase in net profit to Rs 3,468 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,760 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 15.2% to Rs 199,142 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KEC INTERNATIONAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 64.8.
