KEC INTERNATIONAL share price has plunged 4% and is presently trading at Rs 862.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 74,584.3 (down 1.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Forge (down 2.9%) and V GUARD IND. (down 2.6%).

Over the last one year, KEC INTERNATIONAL has moved up from Rs 584.0 to Rs 862.3, registering a gain of Rs 278.3 (up 47.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 40,584.0 to 74,584.3, registering a gain of 83.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 253.9%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 188.4%) and Bharat Electronics (up 169.5%).

The BSE Sensex is at 79,609.0 (down 0.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (down 6.6%) and HCl Tech. (down 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,213.6 (down 0.9%). M&M and HCl Tech. are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 65,344.2 to 79,609.0, registering a gain of 14,264.8 points (up 21.8%).

KEC INTERNATIONAL Financial Update...

KEC INTERNATIONAL net profit grew 110.3% YoY to Rs 1,518 million for the quarter ended March 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 722 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.6% to Rs 61,648 million during the period as against Rs 55,250 million in January-March 2023.

For the year ended March 2023, KEC INTERNATIONAL reported 47.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,760 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,321 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 25.8% to Rs 172,817 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KEC INTERNATIONAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 63.9.
